Upaya Mengoptimalkan Penggunaan Signage Pada Event IFEX

Indonesia International Furniture Expo (IFEX) is an exhibition event engaged in furniture and handicraft industry in Indonesia. Organized by Dyandra Promosindo, IFEX has been running since 2014 and regularly held every year. IFEX is a B2B (Business to Business) exhibition that introduces local craftsmen to the international market. The purpose of this project improvement is to analyze Indonesia International Furniture Expo using the Six Sigma DMAIC method. Some problems that found are the use of signage is not optimal, the use of exhibition space is not optimal, lack of human resources on website management, and ground handling plan are not suitable. The primary issue from IFEX is the use of signage is not optimal with the placement and existing design not recognized as the root cause. Based on the primary issue and the root cause, researchers recommend some alternatif solutions. Among them are development on IFEX application regarding location and direction, sending pre-event material consisting of event layout and information, and using agency services from outside Dyandra. Based on these alternatif solutions, the one that was chosen is development on IFEX application regarding location and direction.
