Abstract

Indonesia is a developing country that has significant growth in economics for recent years. Good economic growth would motivate industry to increase production and in the end will stimulate Indonesia economics. A country economy growth depends on many factor, one of it is country energy supply. For the case in Indonesia, at this moment we are still highly depend on oil and gas energy, much further, Indonesia also still hasn’t had proper infrastructure for energy alternative sources. And that is why until today, energy availability from oil and gas sources become crucial. In the last decade, crude oil exploration in Indonesia is constantly declining, which is inversely with government plan to accelerate infrastructure development and maintain Indonesia sustainable economics growth. Therefore, for the past recent years, Satuan Kerja Khusus (SKK) Migas as a regulator for oil and gas industry in Indonesia, release some regulation related to increase lifting oil and gas production. More support from Indonesia government in oil and gas industry result in increase number of foreign investor investing through oil and gas company to do exploration and exploitation in Indonesia area. PT Geo Marine Survey Indonesia (GMSI), is a Indonesia company which specialized in providing offshore site-hazard survey services. Our services included preparation, survey acquisition, processing and data reporting. Our service provided data that required to be had by Oil and Gas Company before they start to drill on location. The service will provide indication information of shallow gas or pocket gas on the drilling point, which is very important to prevent possibility of economics, environment and employee lost for oil and gas company. Due to the importancies, site hazard survey also become insurance company requirement for oil and gas company to decide whether the drilling activity would be covered by insurance or not. At this moment, there are six active companies in offshore site-hazard survey services industry at Indonesia. Where, all of them are not specializing in site-hazard survey business. With a growing activity on various surveys for oil and gas industry, results in competitor focusing on other type of surey that have bigger value. At the same time, due to increase survey demand in oil and gas industry result in some competitors use freelancer and pay for higher allowance rather than to teach fresh graduate expertise. Considering above factors, PT GMSI will accommodate senior expertise to sit on managerial position on GMSI where in order to have sustainable growth PT GMSI will do coordination with lecturer in some universities to make sure talent regeneration. Target for company revenue in the first year is $1.3 million and for the next years will grow becoming US$ 3.3 million with on going revenue growth target for the next 3 year around 58% per year. Target for net profit on each year projected to be growing from -14% in 1st year and grow reaching 21% in 2018. Profit source in PT GMSI comes from cost efficiency, focusing in acceleration of data acquisition time that will reduce survey expenses.
