Abstract
The strategic role of banking institutions are collecting and distributing funds effectively and effectively. This main task requires continuous improvement in order to have a comparative advantage in banking industry. One of the supporting aspects of banking that have significant influence is employee, especially the account officer that has a role to channeling funds into community. Business improvement project in this thesis discusses about the improvement of performance assessment indicators on account officer division as a pilot project at a bank domiciled in Indonesia. The updated assessment indicators are the result of consideration from some aspects. The first is benchmarks with four other banks that were selected based on the number of assets, the target market, interest rates, and business coverage. The second is the state employees who are directly affected by this project and their expectations of this project results. The third is an internal discussion with management in order to fit the project with corporate vision, mission, and the strategic objective. The result of this project improvement is an incentive scheme that measures performance more objectively so that employees valued in accordance with the result they got. The author hopes this project improvement can help companies solve problems in the employee performance and increase employee loyalty to the company.
