Abstract
The Westin Jakarta merupakan salah satu perusahaan di bawah Marriott International. Hotel ini terletak di 20 lantai teratas Gama Tower. Hotel dan menara ini dimiliki oleh Ganda dan Martua Sitorus melalui PT. Wahana Nusantara, yang merupakan bagian dari Gama Corporation. Dalam penawarannya, The Westin Jakarta menyediakan 255 kamar tamu dengan berbagai tipe serta 12 ruang fungsi. Di dalam Project improvement ini, penulis berusaha untuk menyelesaikan masalah prioritas yaitu “Karyawan departemen F&B belum mencapai standar jam pelatihan yang ditetapkan oleh Marriott International ”. Pendekatan DMAIC diterapkan dalam pengungkapan, Analisis, dan penentuan solusi masalah prioritas. Hasil dari pendekatan DMAIC menunjukan metode pelatihan berbasis kelas regular sebagai solusi yang tepat dan memiliki pengaruh yang kuat dalam menyelesaikan masalah prioritas.
