Abstract

Ketika terjadi peningkatan jumlah kepemilikan institusi pada perusahaan ternyata akan meningkatkan performa perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) dikarenakan peran monitoring yang dilakukan pemegang saham institusi. Hal ini membuat investor dapat melihat jumlah kepemilikan institusi sebagai pertimbangan sebelum mengambil keputusan investasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemilikan institusional terhadap performa perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2010-2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan Tobin’s Q sebagai proksi performa perusahaan. Dengan menggunakan metode regresi linear untuk melakukan analisis pengaruh dan uji beda untuk mengkonfirmasi hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa kepemilikan institusional memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap performa perusahaan.
