Industrial Motive dan Individual Motive dalam Penggabungan Usaha

This study was conducted to investigate at the basis of the merger by focusing on motives of the business combination. This motive can be individual motive or industrial motive. This research carried out on one of the private company located in West Java and used case study method by conducting interviews and observations. It is found that industrial motive is driven by the company's financial condition while individual motive was reflected by overconfidence. Those motives give significant impact to the process of due diligence, negotiation, and valuation in merger process.
