Abstract

Medicine and Nursing are the science and profession that provides health services to improve the level of health for the community. The changes of disease patterns in community from infectious diseases to degenerative diseases such as cardiovascular, metabolic and cancer diseases are the challenges of the current Indonesian medical world. Coronary heart disease reaches 26.4% and currently occupies the top position of the non communicable disease as leading cause of death. In 2018, an estimated 17.3 million deaths were caused by cardiovascular disease and over 3 million deaths occurred at the age of < 60 years old. The era of globalization makes people's increase their demands to the hospital service. Demanded quality services provided by professional personnel, meet international standards in healthcare, and master the latest health technologies, on the other hand the service should be simple and convenient for patients. The development of information and medical technology allows the provision of home care patients equivalent to the quality of service in the hospital. This makes the patient feel more comfortable, not spending time in queuing, so as to increase the compliance of patients in treatment. Hospital-based Homecare equipped with digital telehealth system technology is expected to reduce the level of complexity of the services encountered in hospitals, ranging from long queues, long service and risk of nosocomial infection from other patients. The provision of such services can be facilitated with the good and professional home care services of doctors or nurses as the main actors in this healthcare service, under the auspices of competent hospitals. There is a huge market potential in this telehealth service, due to the growing number of hospitals and patients, especially outpatients (74.8% of patients from hospital visits are outpatient visits). Recorded average growth of 5.2% of total hospitals (in period 2012-2018). While the homecare services that exist today are still very minimal and not yet fully compliant with the services that the patient gets in the hospital. Therefore, it is still open very large opportunities to meet customer expectations that have not been met currrently. PT Klik Solusi Sehat with KlikMed Homecare Digital Tele-Health System or Homecare online application for patients with chronic disease. KlikMed provides services with an integrated digital system equivalent to the hospital, aimed at patients suffering from chronic diseases, while the patient remains at home, no need to go to hospital (Home Care). In this online application homecare allows doctors or nurses to provide health care to patients remotely. The patient remains at home while the Doctor is in the hospital. Through video conferencing, patients can face to face with the Doctor who take cares them for consultation. The doctor can conduct patient screening using the test results of the previous examination, such as a vital sign (blood pressure, temperature, pulse), blood laboratory (blood glucose, cholesterol, gout), ECG, or even ultrasound. The system can guarantee the reliability (Reliable), simple in the process & procedures (Simple), as well as comfortable (Homey) for patients. Hospitals also benefited with reduced patient load, healthcare services more cost efficient in the absence of reductions from revenue. This service offers a better overall benefit for patients and hospitals than conventional services. It is acquired through a precise and integrated strategy between marketing, operational, human and financial resources. The funding requirement needed for this product is estimated at IDR 12.6 billion which consist of Initial capital expenditure worth IDR 10.8 billion and working capital worth IDR 1.7 billion, where the funding of this project will be done by 100% equity. In most likely scenario, sales are expected to reach IDR 12.6 billion in the first year of operation and IDR 80,9 billion in the 9th year of operation. IRR projection is estimated at 39.88% with NPV amounting to IDR 27,5 billion and Payback Period achieved in period of 3 years 11 months. From the evaluation to the overall functional of the company, the plan to launch KlikMed as a Homecare Teleheatlh Digital Application System for patients with chronic disease is assessed worthy and needs to be run, since the market potential is huge and competition levels are still fairly low.
